A little side table with plenty of character, made from a beautifully figured piece of British bur oak.

Originally designed as a sofa table, the natural shape of the timber makes every piece unique. The bur oak has some lovely grain, figuring and natural markings that you simply couldn't recreate.

I've kept the design fairly simple, letting the timber do the talking, with an Osmo Polyx Oil finish to bring out the depth of colour and protect the wood.

Made by hand here at Mortimers Workshop. A proper one-off.
