Made from a beautiful piece of spalted sycamore, this one-off side table is designed to sit alongside a sofa, just where you need it.

The timber has some cracking figuring, with natural spalting running throughout, giving it plenty of character. I've kept the shape of the top as natural as possible, letting the grain and markings take centre stage.

Finished with Osmo Polyx Oil to bring out the warmth of the timber and protect the surface.

Handmade here at Mortimers Workshop using British timber. No two pieces are ever the same.
